Where Would Kiki Go: Guide to St. Tropez

I went to St. Tropez about a year ago and absolutely loved it so I knew I had to do a Where Would Kiki Go: Guide to St. Tropez even if it was a year late. I’m sharing all of my favorite restaurants and beach clubs and in St. Tropez – they truely are an experience. If you missed my What to Wear in St. Tropez post you can check it out here.

Best Lively Dinner: L’Opera

L’Opera was so much fun! Everything was all white, super ornate and the vibe was perfect. They had performers dancing on the tables an elevated and tasteful way (honestly they were so good!). It was a great combination of good food and a really fun atmosphere. A lot of the restaurants in St. Tropez had people dancing and performing but L’Opera’s food was great too which wasn’t as easily said about other options.

Best Romantic Dinner: Napoleon

I’m pretty sure we loved Napoleon so much the first time that we almost went back again another night. The ambiance is beautiful but completely different from L’Opera. Napoleon is tucked away off the street and you really wouldn’t know how to get to it unless you knew. Shout out to The Skinny Confidential who posted an instastory from Napoleon during her St. Tropez trip and I knew it must have been a winner and it was. The vibe is more traditional and definitely has a french feel. The food was out of this world. I think as far as the actual food goes, Napoleon was the best. Also apparently I loved this dinner so much that I took zero photos which is so strange.

Best Beach Clubs:

Bagatelle:

I loved Bagatelle! It was so chic. It’s right on the beach so you can see the water and get that ocean air but not so much on the beach that you’re getting sandy. They do have a section where you can rent beach chairs but we just went for lunch and sat in the open indoor area and it was perfect. It was a really good crowd and wasn’t too over the top but also wasn’t too tame.

Club 55:

I had high hopes for Club 55! When we went though, it was end of August so it was technically off-season and this was probably the only place where you could tell. We had an amazing lunch and it’s a pretty setting but it was definitely more families and kids which of course is fine but wasn’t the vibe I had in my head or the experience I heard from others. I would still add this to the list though and 100% add it to the list if you’re going during peak season.

Honorable mention: Dior Cafe

The Dior Cafe looked so cute but we missed the boat on this one and couldn’t fit a reservation into our schedules.  Honestly it was a beach club or brunch situation and we went with the beach club. We did take a peek while walking by and it does look so cute!
