I honestly lucked out with this two piece set. It’s probably one of my top 10 favorite outfits of all time (possibly) and it ended up being perfect for my Saturday night events and show but more on that later. Once again Revolve totally saved me and I ordered this two piece set on Thursday because for some reason I didn’t plan an outfit for Saturday and it arrived on Saturday morning. Life. Saver.
I wanted something fresh and different for Saturday night at NYFW and loved the metallic details in this two pieces set. It’s the perfect amount of shimmer without being over the top. It’s hard to explain without seeing it in person because if you say you’re wearing a “light navy colored sparkle two piece set” it sounds a little iffy but that couldn’t be farther from the case. The fit is actually unreal. I feel like it has a lot of stretch so if you’re not exactly my size I wouldn’t be turned off by it by any means. This two piece set is also really comfortable because the pants and top are lined so they aren’t itchy at all.
So where did I wear this anyways? Right after this shoot my photographer Nicole and I went to this really great pizza place in NoMad called &pizza where we had 2 pizzas in like ten minutes flat. I go into more detail in my Guide to New York here. Next we were off to the Lulu’s event and then the rewardStyle event. After that, it was time for the Philipp Plein show.
The Philipp Plein show was literally like no-show I’ve ever been to. I pulled up to The Manhattan Center and there were so many people outside. Once we were seated the show began and it was definitely a show. Diane Von Teese started off the show and then Future started performing as the models walked down the runway. It was so fun and definitely something different.
So that sums it up! This two piece set is super comfortable and a great going out piece.
