Today I’m sharing my Skims review. I’m sure we’ve all heard about Skims at this point. I really have to give credit to the Kardashian family for being marketing geniuses. Well it worked because I finally caved and placed my order. My expectations weren’t overly high when I ordered them but I wanted to see for myself. I figured they would be good but I totally underestimated how good.
The cotton plunge bralette and the cotton ribbed thong quickly arrived a few days later. The shipping process was actually very fast. These pieces came in a lot of cute color combinations but I liked that this was was more neutral but still unique. I was really torn between the white too though.
The fit: I was really surprised by the fit! I have a petite build so things tend to fit me too big in all the wrong places. Let me just tell you that there is nothing less cute then under garments that are too big. Skims honestly fit like a glove. I got an xxs in both the tops and bottoms and they were both perfect which really rarely happens for me.
Super flattering: I think it’s the combination of the material and the fit but this set is so flattering. My confidence level totally increased when I put them on. The bottoms are high waisted which always helps to elongate the legs and the thick waistband creates the appearance of a cinched waist. The top fit really well too. I feel like it just made my boobs look great but in a natural way. Sorry for the TMI but I know these are the important details that you ladies need to know!
Comfort: I really like that this set is very effortless but still looks great on. I feel like you can tell when something is uncomfortable and it just looks too fussy but this was the complete opposite. Kim definitely mastered the effortlessly sexy aesthetic.
So the verdict is in and I give this Skims set my seal of approval. The fit really did it for me and I was very surprised by the overall quality and attention to detail. I haven’t tried any other Skims pieces yet but I’m sure I will after how much I liked this one.
