The red carpet for the Oscars is by far the most glamorous red carpet of the award show season. While there were a handful of dresses that I loved, some where just not “Oscar” material. My favorite “Oscar” material dresses below all embody the same sort of elegance and grace. The best dressed all seemed to be in very light colored pastels.

The Oscars are such an important night in the entertainment industry that a dress for the Oscars should have a different look than a dress at any other award show. I definitely think the four lovely ladies above understood that concept. But my best dress of the night goes to Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture.
