I’m a sucker for over the knee boots paired with oversized tops. Actually this is a dress that I had hemmed to hit the top of my boots (petite girl problems over here) but it still accomplishes the same look.
This was probably my favorite outfit from New York Fashion Week. I love the whole vibe and the color combination. Mixing blush/champagne tones with grey is a great example of how to transition those colors into the fall. Since you can never go wrong with black, this dress also comes in black. I really like the combination of the dress with over the knee boots. I think we will be seeing a lot of that this season.
Let’s talk about one of my favorite fall shoes – over the knee boots. They’re elongating, super flattering and easily complete an outfit. I have a black and a grey pair right now but I have a feeling I’ll be adding a few new ones to my closet this year. The boots that I’m wearing fit so well! I usually have a hard time finding a pair that aren’t too big. I would definitely recommend ordering these if you run into this problem as well. TIP: If you do get a pair and they are too big, you can always get them taken in! I’ve done that with multiple over the knee boots and they always turn out great.
