Here’s a New York Fashion Week look which will be one of many coming to the blog soon. It it honestly my favorite time of year but it is always such a whirlwind. My flight on the way there got canceled… twice. But luckily I made it to New York in time. I woke up the next day to an actual blizzard and decided my pointed toed pumps weren’t going to make the cut. Here’s on of my outfits that was pretty chilly for this weather but hey, it is fashion week.
Mixing textures is so fun especially now that fishnets are back. I love mixing fishnets with more elegant pieces. Fishnets and fur adds an edgy factor to the look. This cape is one of my favorites. It is so easy to wear and can dress up any outfit. I have a beautiful layered blouse under it that I am in love with. The sleeves are absolutely gorgeous. There are two pieces that saved my New York Fashion Week look though, these gloves and those black ankle boots. Apparently slush is real and all of my shoes would have been ruined if I didn’t order these ankle boots last min. These gloves are perfect!! They’re my moms and unfortunately I either left them in a cab or they are hidden in my suitcase. I’ve linked to similar ones below. It looks like I’ll be ordering a new pair too.
