Harem pants… It’s a love hate relationship, it truly is. I was skeptical of harem pants at first but they are beginning to grow on me. I don’t know how to put this gently (weird right?) but I could not get over the “saggy butt” issue. If you can get past that, and yes it will take time, you’ll see that the harem pants create such a sleek and effortless look.
I love how the pants flow with the silk top. I noticed that tops with sleeves looked better with the harem pants than tank tops (at least on me). Oh and just to clarify I am not talking about the harem pants with the crotch at your knees. That I just won’t comment on at this time.
So my advice to you is to bite the bullet and let the harem pants grow on you. Lets just say I put on my skinnies tonight for dinner and felt a little dull. Now don’t take that the wrong way, I don’t think harem pants are replacing the skinnies but as for now it is a good style to mix in your wardrobe (plus they are the most comfortable things in the world).
