The commercials are my favorite part of the Super Bowl so I’ve rounded up my 10 best Super Bowl commercials of 2019. Most of these are funny because that’s how I tend to like my commercials but the more serious ones like Microsoft for example totally knocked it out of the park. 1. Amazon: I love this commercial from Amazon because it pokes fun at crazy Amazon ideas while also somehow being relatable. I also love the boston terrier ordering dog food. I think that part is really cute. Also our family dog was a boston terrier and she passed away last week so I loved seeing one with an equally as annoying bark in this commercial. Sorry for the sad plot twist. Moral of the story is Amazon did a great job with this one.
2.TMobile x Lyft: I’m pretty sure this was a meme and I feel like someones going to try to take credit for this but with all of that aside, this was a really funny commercial. It was a great way to incorporate both Lyft and T Mobile in a way that felt natural for both brands.
3.Microsoft: This ad really speaks for itself. It’s awesome and so cool to see how excited these kids are about Microsoft’s new technology.
4.Expensify: This is just funny and makes me want to download it. I can totally see how this would happen and it’s so simple but hilarious at the same time.
5.Michael Bublé vs bubly: This might have been one of my top favorites for sure. It was witty and I love a Michael Bublé moment. I’m glad to see he’s monetizing beyond his Christmas album because that’s great and he deserves it for bringing holiday cheer every year. Kidding but not really.
6.Google Assistant: This is pretty funny – I saw the Home Alone Again ad a few weeks ago and thought it was great so this was a cool twist to that.
7.Bud Light “Special Delivery:” I really liked this ad because it was a creative way to get the point across about corn syrup in a way that was both memorable and entertaining.
8.Bumble: This is everything. It’s such a powerful message and is tied together perfectly. I love the advertising that Bumble has been doing as well as their overall brand message so this is a win.
9.Turkish Airlines: This is the full version so it’s long but trust me, it’s really good!
10.Mercedes Benz: This ad was really good because it gets the point across well. It grabs your attention at the beginning but you still don’t really know what it has to do with Mercedes until the end. You know it’s a good ad when you can walk away knowing what feature they wanted to convey.
